Residential HVAC Service Program for Contractors
Georgia Power's Residential HVAC Service Program partners with local contractors to address the performance of existing residential HVAC equipment. Program Contractors can offer customers up to a $50 rebate per unit for completing an assessment and service on their system.
How to Become a Program-Participating Contractor
To become an HVAC Service Program Contractor, submit an application, complete a drug screen and background check, attend required training, and maintain all applicable insurance requirements and state and trade licensing. The service requires the contractor to follow the program's technical guidelines and requires use of sophisticated tools to measure the increase in system performance. Any services performed that do not meet program standards will not be eligible for incentives.
After an application has been approved and all required training completed, contractors can begin promoting the program to eligible customers. Contractors are responsible for submitting the online rebate application on behalf of the customer.
