Carroll County Schools
Carroll County Schools partnered with Energy Services to upgrade its facilities and save money. It upgraded 23 schools to include new high efficiency lighting, kitchen equipment, air conditioning equipment, water conservation measures and building controls. These upgrades generated both energy savings and $65,000 in Commercial Energy Efficiency rebates, allowing Carroll County Schools to pay for the upgrades in less than 10 years.

Can I finance the project with Georgia Power?
Energy conservation projects can either be self-funded or financed through a third party. Through the Energy Savings Program, a number of financial institutions are available to provide low-cost financing for up to 20 years based on the projected energy savings of the project, so institutional customers will not need capital funding.
