Employee Councils
Employee Councils are a powerful tool for Georgia Power's leadership to demonstrate its commitment to diversity. These Employee Councils give a voice to the very people who are impacted most by the organization's ability to manage diversity.
Georgia Power currently has nearly 30 active Employee Councils across the state. Each council is made up of a group of people charged with guiding their organization's diversity and work environment efforts.
"The Employee Councils are vital to the leadership of this company. They represent the voice of the employees and help me, as a manager, to more effectively create a good work environment. I count on them a lot!"
- Anne Kaiser, Vice President, Northwest Region
