Project SHARE

Project SHARE bill pay assistance is funded by Georgia Power's customers to help their neighbors in need. To participate in Project SHARE, customers contribute a small dollar amount to their bill each month and Georgia Power matches their donation. Project SHARE has collected over $50 million since its inception in 1985.

Bill Pay Assistance

Do you need assistance paying your electric bill? Bill pay utility assistance is offered by both Georgia Power and the United Way. The United Way's Electric Service Payment Assistance Programs pay all or a portion of the electric service expenses of people whose electricity has been or is at risk of being shut off. To find out more, please visit the United Way's website directly.

Another possible option for our customers who are experiencing financial hardship is to extend your payment date beyond the current due date with Georgia Power.
