Authorized Payment Locations (APLs) are venues that accept Georgia Power payments and post them immediately and securely.*
There are more than 3,000 APLs around the state and thousands more nationwide.
APLs are open evenings and weekends and are convenient to where you live, work and shop. Locations include Kroger, Walmart, Walgreens, Dollar General, Family Dollar and more.
To ensure immediate posting of your payment, please provide your barcode for CheckOut payments or ask the store agent to process your payment through CheckFreePay or Fidelity Express. You can also use a U.S. Payments kiosk at some locations.

Two Ways to Pay at an Authorized Payment Location
You can present either the account number or the Georgia Power CheckOut barcode on your bill to have the payment applied to the account. Learn more about each option below.
Pay By Account Number
Present your account number or power bill at these and other locations:
- Walmart
- Kroger
- Walgreens
- Plus, many others
Your account number is located on the front of your bill.

Pay in three easy steps:
- Step 1: Bring your power bill or account number.
- Step 2: Go to the customer service counter, Money Center, or the payment kiosk.
- Step 3: Make a payment. Cash is accepted at all locations, and some locations accept debit cards. Credit cards and checks are not accepted.
