Project SHARE Makes Helping Neighbors Easy

Georgia Power and the Salvation Army have joined together to help Georgians in need this winter through Project SHARE. . Project SHARE, established in partnership with The Salvation Army in 1985, was one of the first fuel funds in America and helps with expenses, such as utility bills, housing, food and medical necessities. Now communities can help their neighbors in need through the project with Georgia Power matching every donation contributed.

Project SHARE has helped over 369,000 households throughout the state since 1985, raising over $69 million through Georgia Power and customers. Last year, more than 34,000 customers donated to the program leading to a total contribution of more than $2.2 million.
